Welcome to The Daily Belter. Our only mission is silliness.

This website was launched on 24 March 2016, which was the date that Scotland would have become independent, but is completely irrelevant to the existence of this website.

The Daily Belter will aim to provide ridiculous, irreverent, original and non-partisan spoof and satire from a Scottish perspective.

Everything here is made up, unless it isn’t.

Take nothing seriously.
